Are you aware of what agreements you have entered into with Facebook or other social networking sites?
Yes I am currently aware of the new settings on facebook. This article is talking about how many people are complaining about the new settings on facebook and that they should change. They say that the settings are set too loosely and that they should be changed. Ultimately it is the fault of the person who has the facebook for not reviewing their new settings. If they accepted these new terms they should read over what they are accepting rather than just accepting it not knowing what they are agreeing too. I think that facebook is not at fault although their new default settings are set loosely, they simply just want to spread net working and want to make it so other people can find you on facebook like long lost friends or distant reletives. If each individual person does not agree with the settings that have been set by facebook it is up to them to change it themselves not to blame facebook for this new default settings. I know many of the new regulators strongly appose them but they should realize that facebook again is not at fault. It is the individual that should change what they do or do not want to be seen by the public. But i do see their side of the story. It is a problem in this country that their are many dangerous people trying to find women or just others to stalk and that they are trying to eliminate that by setting more difficult default settings that will eliminate that, but some people are different than others and only allow certain information that others may or may not give out aswell. Again it is up to the individual to set their own settings not just rely on facebook to do it for them, they are the only ones at fault here and shouldnt try to penalize facebook for their faults, if they didnt like the new settings that are now in place then they shouldnt have accepted the new terms of agreement that facebook has set as their default, or atleast should have read through them before accepting them.
